Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Concerto Barocco (Project for new version) by Eugene Berman was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in November 2021. It achieved a price of USD 3,570.00 (€ 3,162.93), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 19%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eugene Berman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Backview of Proserpina in Black in May this year with an auction result of USD 68,040.00 (€ 63,863.34).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Concerto Barocco (Project for new version) von Eugene Berman kam im November 2021 bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 3.570,00 (€ 3.162,93) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 19%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eugene Berman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Backview of Proserpina in Black im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 68.040,00 (€ 63.863,34).
