In April 2017 Christies in Milan held the auction Milan Modern and Contemporary, which included the work Orizzontale by Ettore Spalletti. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 92,622.00 32% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ettore Spalletti - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Azzurro, which sold at auction in June last year for EUR 201,600.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 32 % übertroffen
Im April 2017 führte Christies in Mailand die Auktion Milan Modern and Contemporary durch, in der auch die Arbeit Orizzontale von Ettore Spalletti zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 92.622,00 und damit 32% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Ettore Spalletti mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Azzurro beobachtet, die im Juni letzten Jahres für EUR 201.600,00 versteigert wurde.
