Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Il Colore E L’Oro, Rosa by Ettore Spalletti was sold in the Italian Art auction at Sothebys in London in October 2017. It changed hands for a price of GBP 75,000.00 (€ 85,514.68) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ettore Spalletti - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Azzurro, which sold at auction in June last year for EUR 201,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Il Colore E L’Oro, Rosa von Ettore Spalletti wurde im Oktober 2017 in der Auktion Italian Art bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 75.000,00 (€ 85.514,68) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ettore Spalletti mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Azzurro beobachtet, die im Juni letzten Jahres für EUR 201.600,00 versteigert wurde.
