Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2018 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European & Orientalist Art, which included the work The servant and mistress by Ettore Simonetti. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,212.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ettore Simonetti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The carpet merchant in July 2008 with an auction result of GBP 553,250.00 (€ 702,910.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2018 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European & Orientalist Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The servant and mistress von Ettore Simonetti zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.212,20) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ettore Simonetti erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The carpet merchant im Juli 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 553.250,00 (€ 702.910,35).
