Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Antiquity, 1675 by Etsuzan Doshu was auctioned at Christies in New York in April 2015. The price achieved of USD 6,000.00 (€ 5,375.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Etsuzan Doshu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Autumn Moon, circa 1708, which sold at auction in April 2015 for USD 16,250.00 (€ 14,558.32).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Antiquity, 1675 von Etsuzan Doshu kam im April 2015 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.000,00 (€ 5.375,38) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Etsuzan Doshu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Autumn Moon, circa 1708 beobachtet, die im April 2015 für USD 16.250,00 (€ 14.558,32) versteigert wurde.
