Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2021 Christies in New York held the auction First Open, which included the work L'Aura by Etienne Hajdu. The price achieved of USD 10,625.00 (€ 9,047.94) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Etienne Hajdu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sans titre, which sold at auction in December 2012 for EUR 35,800.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2021 führte Christies in New York die Auktion First Open durch, in der auch die Arbeit L'Aura von Etienne Hajdu zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 10.625,00 (€ 9.047,94) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Etienne Hajdu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sans titre beobachtet, die im Dezember 2012 für EUR 35.800,00 versteigert wurde.
