Upper estimate price exceeded by 57 %.
The work Alba - 1964 by Etienne Hajdu was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in June this year. It achieved a price of EUR 23,616.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 57 %. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Etienne Hajdu; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Sans titre sold at auction in December 2012 with the realized price of EUR 35,800.00.

Die Arbeit Alba - 1964 von Etienne Hajdu kam im Juni diesen Jahres bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 23.616,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 57 %. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Etienne Hajdu; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Sans titre im Dezember 2012 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 35.800,00.
