Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2011 Christies in London held the auction Impressionist/Modern, which included the work Femme by István (Etienne) Beöthy. The price achieved of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,148.68) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by István (Etienne) Beöthy have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Monument pour aviateur, Op. 48 in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 18,960.50).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2011 führte Christies in London die Auktion Impressionist/Modern durch, in der auch die Arbeit Femme von István (Etienne) Beöthy zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.148,68) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von István (Etienne) Beöthy auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Monument pour aviateur, Op. 48 im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 18.960,50).
