Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Cherry Girl by Etienne Adolphe Piot was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in October 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 21,250.00 (€ 19,049.75) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Etienne Adolphe Piot - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work French a Young Girl With Origami Birds, which sold at auction in May 2015 for USD 68,750.00 (€ 62,534.11).

Die Arbeit The Cherry Girl von Etienne Adolphe Piot kam im Oktober 2019 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 21.250,00 (€ 19.049,75) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
