In May 2013 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work The More You Get Lust, The More You Get Lost by Erwin Windu Pranata. The auction ended at the price of HKD 60,000.00 (€ 5,950.11), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Other works by Erwin Windu Pranata have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2012 the work 1 Eye Mickey was auctioned for HKD 81,250.00 (€ 7,916.79).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Mai 2013 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit The More You Get Lust, The More You Get Lost von Erwin Windu Pranata zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 60.000,00 (€ 5.950,11) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Erwin Windu Pranata konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2012 die Arbeit 1 Eye Mickey für HKD 81.250,00 (€ 7.916,79) versteigert.
