Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Drowning In Pleasure 2 by Erwin Windu Pranata was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2013. The price achieved of HKD 37,500.00 (€ 3,558.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Erwin Windu Pranata - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work 1 Eye Mickey, which sold at auction in April 2012 for HKD 81,250.00 (€ 7,916.79).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Drowning In Pleasure 2 von Erwin Windu Pranata kam im Oktober 2013 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 37.500,00 (€ 3.558,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Erwin Windu Pranata mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit 1 Eye Mickey beobachtet, die im April 2012 für HKD 81.250,00 (€ 7.916,79) versteigert wurde.
