A top price for Ernst Mether-Borgström - as previously expected
The work "In The Café". by Ernst Mether-Borgström was auctioned at Bukowski in Helsinki in November 2014. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 7,000.00 – 10,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 7,400.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, "In The Café". is the most expensive artwork by Ernst Mether-Borgström that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit "In The Café". von Ernst Mether-Borgström kam im November 2014 bei Bukowski in Helsinki zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 7.400,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist "In The Café". das teuerste Kunstwerk von Ernst Mether-Borgström, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
