Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2010 a collector was able to acquire the work Azul Mariano by Ernesto Pujol for USD 750.00 (€ 606.35). This price was achieved in the auction Latin American Sale at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ernesto Pujol achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Isla de Balseros (From The Series Mapas) in November 2005 with an auction result of USD 10,800.00 (€ 9,160.31).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2010 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Azul Mariano von Ernesto Pujol für USD 750,00 (€ 606,35) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Latin American Sale bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ernesto Pujol erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Isla de Balseros (From The Series Mapas) im November 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 10.800,00 (€ 9.160,31).
