The price achieved of USD 125,000.00 (€ 118,169.79) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Five Works: Primera Silla, Sacando A La Caballada, Lazar Las Yeguas, Cazando Al Toro A Campo Abierto, Jineteo De Yegua is the most expensive artwork by Ernesto Icaza that we have observed at auctions so far.
