In May 2000 Christies in London held the auction Maritime, which included the work The racing yawl Bingo off the Nab Lightship by Ernest Stuart. The price achieved of GBP 1,762.50 (€ 2,828.16) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00.
