Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2021 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Urban & Pop Contemporary, which included the work Arthur Rimbaud - 1978 by Ernest Pignon-Ernest. The price achieved of EUR 2,340.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ernest Pignon-Ernest achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work David Et Goliath, 1990 in February 2014 with an auction result of EUR 26,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2021 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Urban & Pop Contemporary durch, in der auch die Arbeit Arthur Rimbaud - 1978 von Ernest Pignon-Ernest zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.340,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ernest Pignon-Ernest erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit David Et Goliath, 1990 im Februar 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 26.000,00.
