Auction result fails to reach estimate
This work of art by Ernest Borough Johnson could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in October this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Paintings, furniture and varia auction, the work City scenery from Jerusalem changed hands for DKK 1,200.00 (€ 160.79) - just shy of the DKK 3,000.00 estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ernest Borough Johnson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of the artist and his dog in July 2019 with an auction result of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 6,862.08).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis

Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ernest Borough Johnson erzielen.
