Auction result well in line with expectations
In May this year Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Modern Art + Design, which included the work "Litania till Morgonstjärnan" by Erik Olson. The price achieved of SEK 34,000.00 (€ 2,929.60) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as SEK 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Erik Olson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work ”Carré Rouge" in May 2021 with an auction result of SEK 6,800,000.00 (€ 671,412.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai diesen Jahres führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Modern Art + Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Litania till Morgonstjärnan" von Erik Olson zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von SEK 34.000,00 (€ 2.929,60) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit SEK 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Erik Olson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ”Carré Rouge" im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 6.800.000,00 (€ 671.412,17).
