In December 2015 Artcurial held the auction Photography Bruno Mouron Collection, which included the work Russland Europa Amerika by Erich Mendelsohn. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 316.00 58% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Erich Mendelsohn achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Skizze zu einer Halle aus Eisenbeton. in May 2013 with an auction result of EUR 50,020.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 58 % übertroffen
Im Dezember 2015 führte Artcurial die Auktion Photography Bruno Mouron Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Russland Europa Amerika von Erich Mendelsohn zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 316,00 und damit 58% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Erich Mendelsohn erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Skizze zu einer Halle aus Eisenbeton. im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 50.020,00.
