Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art | London, which included the work Portrait Clinique #2 by Eric Manigaud. The price achieved of GBP 2,520.00 (€ 3,005.83) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Eric Manigaud - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Cologne 1, 1945, which sold at auction in June 2018 for GBP 8,750.00 (€ 9,888.99).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art | London durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait Clinique #2 von Eric Manigaud zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.520,00 (€ 3.005,83) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Eric Manigaud mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Cologne 1, 1945 beobachtet, die im Juni 2018 für GBP 8.750,00 (€ 9.888,99) versteigert wurde.
