In October 2021 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Olle Emanuelsson Collection H063, which included the work "Optochromie" by Eric H. Olson. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 36,000.00 (€ 3,624.31), 44% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Eric H. Olson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Optochromi - A4", which sold at auction in May 2011 for SEK 92,000.00 (€ 10,354.48).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 44 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2021 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Olle Emanuelsson Collection H063 durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Optochromie" von Eric H. Olson zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 36.000,00 (€ 3.624,31) und damit 44% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Eric H. Olson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Optochromi - A4" beobachtet, die im Mai 2011 für SEK 92.000,00 (€ 10.354,48) versteigert wurde.
