Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Thriller by Equipo Crónica was sold in the Spanish Art at the Westin Palace Hotel auction at Christies in Madrid in October 2008. The price achieved of EUR 61,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 50,000.00 – 80,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Equipo Crónica - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Jugada Juan Gris (Composición Triangular Dos Veces), which sold at auction in February 2008 for GBP 132,500.00 (€ 173,304.80).

Die Arbeit Thriller von Equipo Crónica wurde im Oktober 2008 in der Auktion Spanish Art at the Westin Palace Hotel bei Christies in Madrid versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 61.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 50.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Equipo Crónica mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Jugada Juan Gris (Composición Triangular Dos Veces) beobachtet, die im Februar 2008 für GBP 132.500,00 (€ 173.304,80) versteigert wurde.
