The work Caballero by Equipo Crónica was auctioned at Christies in Madrid in October 2008. The auction ended at the price of EUR 20,000.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Equipo Crónica have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Jugada Juan Gris (Composición Triangular Dos Veces) in February 2008 with an auction result of GBP 132,500.00 (€ 173,304.80).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Caballero von Equipo Crónica kam im Oktober 2008 bei Christies in Madrid zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 20.000,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Equipo Crónica auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Jugada Juan Gris (Composición Triangular Dos Veces) im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 132.500,00 (€ 173.304,80).
