Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 11,951.80) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Epaminondas Thomopoulos - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Greek Reverie, which sold at auction in November 2007 for GBP 31,700.00 (€ 44,388.20).
