Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 2,040.00 (€ 2,396.47). Admittedly, works by Enzo Benedetto have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Esplosione della primavera in May 2000 with an auction result of ITL 23,500,000.00 (€ 20,154.37).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Composizione geometrica von Enzo Benedetto kam im März 2021 bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 2.040,00 (€ 2.396,47) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Enzo Benedetto auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Esplosione della primavera im Mai 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von ITL 23.500.000,00 (€ 20.154,37).
