Auction result well in line with expectations
The work If Forno by Enrico Donati was sold in the First Open: Summer Edition auction at Christies in New York in July 2014. The price achieved of USD 8,125.00 (€ 6,067.96) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Enrico Donati achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Spaziale fiorito in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 867,000.00 (€ 768,140.34).
