Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Sharing the Golden Cloak by Emmy Bridgwater was auctioned at Bonhams in London in November this year. It achieved a price of GBP 1,408.00 (€ 1,631.57), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Admittedly, works by Emmy Bridgwater have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Red, Red Rose in March 2020 with an auction result of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 10,586.30).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Sharing the Golden Cloak von Emmy Bridgwater kam im November diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.408,00 (€ 1.631,57) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Emmy Bridgwater auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Red, Red Rose im März 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 10.586,30).
