In February 2012 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work White horse and three cows by Emma McClure. The result of GBP 500.00 (€ 597.01) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Admittedly, works by Emma McClure have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Fruit and flowers in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 2,125.00 (€ 2,686.07).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Februar 2012 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit White horse and three cows von Emma McClure zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 500,00 (€ 597,01) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 500,00 – 700,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Emma McClure auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Fruit and flowers im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.125,00 (€ 2.686,07).
