The auction ended at the price of DKK 6,000.00 (€ 804.89), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of DKK 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Emily Gernild achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work “Celebratory Fragments”, 2020 in December this year with an auction result of DKK 60,000.00 (€ 8,049.18).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Still life with candle and pumpkins von Emily Gernild kam im April diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von DKK 6.000,00 (€ 804,89) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Emily Gernild erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit “Celebratory Fragments”, 2020 im Dezember diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 60.000,00 (€ 8.049,18).
