Auction result well in line with expectations
The work “Æggesnaps” by Emily Gernild was auctioned at Bruun Rasmussen in June this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of DKK 8,000.00 – 10,000.00, the actual price achieved of DKK 8,500.00 (€ 1,141.12) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Emily Gernild have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work “Celebratory Fragments”, 2020 in December this year with an auction result of DKK 60,000.00 (€ 8,049.18).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit “Æggesnaps” von Emily Gernild kam im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von DKK 8.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von DKK 8.500,00 (€ 1.141,12) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Emily Gernild auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit “Celebratory Fragments”, 2020 im Dezember diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 60.000,00 (€ 8.049,18).
