Upper estimate price exceeded by 61 %.
The work Emergency by Emilio Vedova was sold in the Contemporary Auction auction at Sothebys in Milan in April last year. It achieved a price of EUR 289,800.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 61 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Emilio Vedova - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ciclo 61/62 N.2, which sold at auction in May 2008 for EUR 776,750.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 61 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Emergency von Emilio Vedova wurde im April letzten Jahres in der Auktion Contemporary Auction bei Sothebys in Mailand versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 289.800,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 61 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Emilio Vedova mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ciclo 61/62 N.2 beobachtet, die im Mai 2008 für EUR 776.750,00 versteigert wurde.
