This artwork by Emilio Scanavino achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Milan in May 2007. In the Modern & Contemporary Art and Collection Jef Verheyen and Dani Franque auction, the work Il Giorno Dei Morti sold for EUR 45,600.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Emilio Scanavino - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work IL TRIONFO DELLA MORTE, which sold at auction in June 2018 for EUR 140,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Emilio Scanavino erzielte im Mai 2007 bei Sothebys in Mailand einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art and Collection Jef Verheyen and Dani Franque wurde die Arbeit Il Giorno Dei Morti für EUR 45.600,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Emilio Scanavino mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit IL TRIONFO DELLA MORTE beobachtet, die im Juni 2018 für EUR 140.000,00 versteigert wurde.
