Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Tempo di preghiera by Emilio Scanavino was auctioned at Il Ponte in November this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 40,000.00 – 60,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 45,000.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Emilio Scanavino - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work IL TRIONFO DELLA MORTE, which sold at auction in June 2018 for EUR 140,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Tempo di preghiera von Emilio Scanavino kam im November diesen Jahres bei Il Ponte zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 45.000,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Emilio Scanavino mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit IL TRIONFO DELLA MORTE beobachtet, die im Juni 2018 für EUR 140.000,00 versteigert wurde.
