Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Foto con Intervento (Autoritratto) by Emilio Prini was sold in the The Great Wonderful: 100 Years of Italian Art auction at Phillips in New York in May 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 11,250.00 (€ 10,232.85) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Emilio Prini have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in February 2014 with an auction result of GBP 56,250.00 (€ 68,244.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Foto con Intervento (Autoritratto) von Emilio Prini wurde im Mai 2015 in der Auktion The Great Wonderful: 100 Years of Italian Art bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 11.250,00 (€ 10.232,85) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Emilio Prini auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Februar 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 56.250,00 (€ 68.244,78).
