Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2019 Christies in Milan held the auction Thinking Italian Milan, which included the work Da Goya by Emilio Prini. It changed hands for a price of EUR 8,750.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. Admittedly, works by Emilio Prini have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in February 2014 with an auction result of GBP 56,250.00 (€ 68,244.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2019 führte Christies in Mailand die Auktion Thinking Italian Milan durch, in der auch die Arbeit Da Goya von Emilio Prini zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 8.750,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 7.000,00 – 9.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Emilio Prini auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Februar 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 56.250,00 (€ 68.244,78).
