A top price for Emile Charles Lecomte-Vernet - as previously expected
The work French aimée, A Young Egyptian by Emile Charles Lecomte-Vernet was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2010. It changed hands for a price of USD 92,500.00 (€ 70,957.35) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 70,000.00 – 100,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, French aimée, A Young Egyptian is the most expensive artwork by Emile Charles Lecomte-Vernet that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit French aimée, A Young Egyptian von Emile Charles Lecomte-Vernet kam im November 2010 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 92.500,00 (€ 70.957,35) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 70.000,00 – 100.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist French aimée, A Young Egyptian das teuerste Kunstwerk von Emile Charles Lecomte-Vernet, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
