The work La Colline, Toulon by Othon Friesz was sold in the Art Impressionniste et Moderne auction at Sothebys in Paris in March 2019. It achieved a price of EUR 9,375.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 56 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Othon Friesz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Ciotat in June 2000 with an auction result of GBP 212,750.00 (€ 337,234.94).

Die Arbeit La Colline, Toulon von Othon Friesz wurde im März 2019 in der Auktion Art Impressionniste et Moderne bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 9.375,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 56 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Othon Friesz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Ciotat im Juni 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 212.750,00 (€ 337.234,94).
