Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The Fruit Seller; Catching Butterflies: Two Paintings by Emile Eisman-Semenowsky was sold in the Old Master & 19th Century European Art auction at Sothebys in New York in January 2011. Here, the upper estimate of USD 18,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 18,750.00 (€ 13,671.16). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Emile Eisman-Semenowsky - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait of A Woman In A White Head Scarf; And Portrait of A Woman In A Red Tunic With Gold Trim, which sold at auction in June 2007 for GBP 36,000.00 (€ 53,422.19).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The Fruit Seller; Catching Butterflies: Two Paintings von Emile Eisman-Semenowsky wurde im Januar 2011 in der Auktion Old Master & 19th Century European Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 18.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 18.750,00 (€ 13.671,16) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Emile Eisman-Semenowsky mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Portrait of A Woman In A White Head Scarf; And Portrait of A Woman In A Red Tunic With Gold Trim beobachtet, die im Juni 2007 für GBP 36.000,00 (€ 53.422,19) versteigert wurde.
