Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2011 Christies in London held the auction Old Masters & 19th Century Art, which included the work Refreshments in the Harem by Emile Eisman-Semenowsky. It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,679.82) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Emile Eisman-Semenowsky have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait of A Woman In A White Head Scarf; And Portrait of A Woman In A Red Tunic With Gold Trim in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 36,000.00 (€ 53,422.19).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2011 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Masters & 19th Century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Refreshments in the Harem von Emile Eisman-Semenowsky zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.679,82) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Emile Eisman-Semenowsky auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait of A Woman In A White Head Scarf; And Portrait of A Woman In A Red Tunic With Gold Trim im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 36.000,00 (€ 53.422,19).
