Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Maidens of Spring by Emile Eisman-Semenowsky was sold in the 19th Century European Art Including Orientalist Art auction at Christies in London in May 2012. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 3,125.00 (€ 3,893.61) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Emile Eisman-Semenowsky achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of A Woman In A White Head Scarf; And Portrait of A Woman In A Red Tunic With Gold Trim in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 36,000.00 (€ 53,422.19).
Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait of A Woman In A White Head Scarf; And Portrait of A Woman In A Red Tunic With Gold Trim im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 36.000,00 (€ 53.422,19).
