In September 2012 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art Including Orientalist Art, which included the work L'odalisque by Emile Eisman-Semenowsky. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 12,500.00 (€ 15,685.28), 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Emile Eisman-Semenowsky - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait of A Woman In A White Head Scarf; And Portrait of A Woman In A Red Tunic With Gold Trim, which sold at auction in June 2007 for GBP 36,000.00 (€ 53,422.19).

Im September 2012 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art Including Orientalist Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit L'odalisque von Emile Eisman-Semenowsky zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 15.685,28) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Emile Eisman-Semenowsky mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Portrait of A Woman In A White Head Scarf; And Portrait of A Woman In A Red Tunic With Gold Trim beobachtet, die im Juni 2007 für GBP 36.000,00 (€ 53.422,19) versteigert wurde.
