Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Friquette by Emile Eisman-Semenowsky was sold in the Old Masters & 19th Century Art auction at Christies in London in October 2010. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,035.55) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Emile Eisman-Semenowsky achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of A Woman In A White Head Scarf; And Portrait of A Woman In A Red Tunic With Gold Trim in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 36,000.00 (€ 53,422.19).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Friquette von Emile Eisman-Semenowsky wurde im Oktober 2010 in der Auktion Old Masters & 19th Century Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 3.500,00 (€ 4.035,55) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Emile Eisman-Semenowsky erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait of A Woman In A White Head Scarf; And Portrait of A Woman In A Red Tunic With Gold Trim im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 36.000,00 (€ 53.422,19).
