Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2011 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Paintings, which included the work Portrait Of A Girl by Emile Eisman-Semenowsky. The price achieved of GBP 11,875.00 (€ 13,862.85) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Emile Eisman-Semenowsky - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait of A Woman In A White Head Scarf; And Portrait of A Woman In A Red Tunic With Gold Trim, which sold at auction in June 2007 for GBP 36,000.00 (€ 53,422.19).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2011 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait Of A Girl von Emile Eisman-Semenowsky zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 11.875,00 (€ 13.862,85) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Emile Eisman-Semenowsky mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Portrait of A Woman In A White Head Scarf; And Portrait of A Woman In A Red Tunic With Gold Trim beobachtet, die im Juni 2007 für GBP 36.000,00 (€ 53.422,19) versteigert wurde.
