Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Émile-Antoine Bourdelle achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in October 2020. In the Le jardin secret de Paul Haim auction, the work Torse d'Adam sold for EUR 75,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Émile-Antoine Bourdelle have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Héraklès Archer, Huitième Étude Dite "Modèle Intermédiaire Définitif" in March 2016 with an auction result of EUR 373,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Émile-Antoine Bourdelle erzielte im Oktober 2020 bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Le jardin secret de Paul Haim wurde die Arbeit Torse d'Adam für EUR 75.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 30.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Émile-Antoine Bourdelle auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Héraklès Archer, Huitième Étude Dite "Modèle Intermédiaire Définitif" im März 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 373.500,00.
