A top price for Émile-Antoine Bourdelle - as previously expected
The work Héraklès Archer, Huitième Étude Dite "Modèle Intermédiaire Définitif" by Émile-Antoine Bourdelle was sold in the Art Impressionniste & Moderne auction at Christies in Paris in March 2016. The price achieved of EUR 373,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 300,000.00 – 400,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Héraklès Archer, Huitième Étude Dite "Modèle Intermédiaire Définitif" is the most expensive artwork by Émile-Antoine Bourdelle that we have observed at auctions so far.
