Estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Pferdeporträt by Emil Volkers was auctioned at VAN HAM in October 2011. Here, the estimate of EUR 800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 839.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Emil Volkers achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Saddled Bay Hunter in a Stable with a Dog in December 2005 with an auction result of USD 15,600.00 (€ 13,173.45).
Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Pferdeporträt von Emil Volkers kam im Oktober 2011 bei VAN HAM zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der Schätzpreis von EUR 800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 839,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Emil Volkers erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Saddled Bay Hunter in a Stable with a Dog im Dezember 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 15.600,00 (€ 13.173,45).
