Estimate exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Emil Volkers achieved an unexpectedly high price at VAN HAM in June 2014. In the Dekorative Kunst auction, the work Pferdeporträt im Stall. sold for EUR 2,064.00 - well above the estimate of EUR 1,000.00. Admittedly, works by Emil Volkers have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Saddled Bay Hunter in a Stable with a Dog in December 2005 with an auction result of USD 15,600.00 (€ 13,173.45).
Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Emil Volkers erzielte im Juni 2014 bei VAN HAM einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Dekorative Kunst wurde die Arbeit Pferdeporträt im Stall. für EUR 2.064,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem Schätzpreis von EUR 1.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Emil Volkers auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Saddled Bay Hunter in a Stable with a Dog im Dezember 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 15.600,00 (€ 13.173,45).
