Auction result fails to reach estimate
In May this year a collector was able to acquire the work Portrait of a gentleman by Emil Carl Lund for DKK 1,000.00 (€ 134.22). This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, furniture and varia (postponed) at Bruun Rasmussen and was even lower than the DKK 3,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Emil Carl Lund have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work An Afternoon On The Svendeorgsund, Denmark, With The Steamer 'Proven' Beyond in November 2005 with an auction result of GBP 540.00 (€ 793.33).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im Mai diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Portrait of a gentleman von Emil Carl Lund für DKK 1.000,00 (€ 134,22) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia (postponed) bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von DKK 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Emil Carl Lund auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit An Afternoon On The Svendeorgsund, Denmark, With The Steamer 'Proven' Beyond im November 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 540,00 (€ 793,33).
