Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Woman knitting in the park by Emil Carl Lund was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in December last year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 10,000.00 – 12,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 8,500.00 (€ 761.96). Other works by Emil Carl Lund have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in November 2005 by the work An Afternoon On The Svendeorgsund, Denmark, With The Steamer 'Proven' Beyond at GBP 540.00 (€ 793.33).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Woman knitting in the park von Emil Carl Lund im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 10.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 8.500,00 (€ 761,96) den Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Emil Carl Lund wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im November 2005 die Arbeit An Afternoon On The Svendeorgsund, Denmark, With The Steamer 'Proven' Beyond mit GBP 540,00 (€ 793,33).
