This artwork by Emanuele Cavalli achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in June this year. In the Centuries of Beauty - A Refined Private Collection auction, the work Natura morta sold for EUR 10,710.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 6,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Emanuele Cavalli; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Natura morta sold at auction in November 2000 with the realized price of ITL 14,100,000.00 (€ 12,974.47).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Emanuele Cavalli erzielte im Juni diesen Jahres bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Centuries of Beauty - A Refined Private Collection wurde die Arbeit Natura morta für EUR 10.710,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 6.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Emanuele Cavalli; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Natura morta im November 2000 mit dem Hammerpreis von ITL 14.100.000,00 (€ 12.974,47).
